Our Story
KICA Academy was founded in 2013 by Pastry Chef Tetyana Verbytska — a woman who, just like many of you, began by baking at home for her family. What started as a hobby soon became her profession. After receiving formal training, Tetyana wanted to share her knowledge with others, and KICA Academy was born.
In the beginning, we specialized in offline courses taught by some of the world’s best chefs. Among our students was 14-year-old Yevhenii Ivanets, who attended one of his very first pastry courses with us.
In 2021, Yevhenii returned to KICA — this time as our Brand Chef and instructor. Since then, he has created more than 500 recipes, inspiring pastry enthusiasts all over the world.
In 2022, we began publishing premium pastry eBooks, designed to make professional-level recipes clear and accessible for bakers everywhere.
Today, KICA Academy continues to introduce French pâtisserie to home bakers, professionals, and pastry lovers worldwide — through eBooks, classes, and personal support for every student.
